Company Section News

A few words from our Captain - 17th March 2019

Over the last few weeks we have had good success at District and National Competitions with Andrew Hamilton winning the District Ten-pin Bowling Competition and Arren Morton finishing runner up in the Junior Competition. In the Badminton Competition Adam Clarke won the Intermediate Competition and Luke MacKenzie and Andrew Hamilton finishing 2nd and 3rd in the Senior Competition.

Special congratulations go to our Table Tennis Team of Sam Milne, Andrew Whitelaw and Blair Milne for reaching the Scottish Final and also qualifying for the UK Finals to be held in Northern Ireland.

The next District Competition is the Sports night on Monday 25th March where the boys can enter a number of throwing, jumping and running events. Looking for a good turnout for this prime event in the District calendar.

We are rapidly approaching our Annual Inspection and Display on Friday 29th March where we will demonstrate to parents and friends some of the work we do with the boys and present the main awards. We also have a good number of Queens Badges and Presidents Badge to be awarded this year.
